May we not be of one heart,
though we are not of one opinion?
Without all doubt, we may.
Herein all the children of God may unite;
they may forward one another in love and in good works.

There are sweet expressions on each face,
And I know they feel the presence of the Lord."Sweet, Sweet Spirit"
We have been told that there is a warmth that comes from the gathering of kindred spirits when we come together in community. We strive to be accepting, welcoming, and affirming of all God's children, even the ones we haven't met yet!
We are a family of believers who worship God and work for God's kingdom. We are a congregation that comes together from all walks of life. Some of us are new to our faith, and some of us have been walking for nearly a century; we are all excited about our journey together.
We worship...
in insightful, contemplative, and sometimes surprising ways. In worship, we find individual connections with God that deepen our faiths, and we gather as a community of believers that celebrate the faith we share.
We study...
the Word, seeking a greater understanding of our role in creation as unique and unrepeatable miracles of God.

We serve...
in community, ministering to one another and to the world around us. We find joy in the work of God's kingdom and express the love we have been shown in our service to others.
Pastor Jill comes to us following a brief hiatus from formal ministry. She has served as a Director of Program Ministries at First United Methodist Church in Marianna, Florida, Associate Pastor at Saint Andrew United Methodist Church in Panama City, Florida, and Dean and Chaplain of Worship Arts Camp for both children and youth at Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly in Andalusia, Alabama.
She is known as "Ms. Bee" to her students at Marianna High School, where she teaches senior English, and MommyJill to her two grown daughters, Joy and Gracie (as well as her two dogs, Brownie and Gingersnap - the Cookie Pups).
Gerry is a transplant to Tallahassee from the central Florida area. He studied Music and English at Florida State University, and decided to stick around and enjoy the cooler weather with his dog, Judith. He is excited to be in his third year working with the Lake Jackson United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, and is still humbled to have the opportunity to lead such a vibrant congregation in song.
